Job Description

As an F&B Attendant, you are the face of customer service in the food and beverage sector within a hospitality setting. Your role is pivotal in providing a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and cared for from their first interaction until they leave. You will be responsible for ensuring prompt and efficient service while maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and presentation. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to handle customer complaints with professionalism, and the adept multitasking ability to manage various duties swiftly. Your enthusiasm and dedication are critical in cultivating a positive dining experience that will encourage guests to return.


Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and provide them with menus upon arrival.
  • Record orders accurately and deliver prompt and efficient service.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the menu and daily specials.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar staff for timely orders.
  • Ensure all food and beverages are presented to guests properly.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Manage billing and deliver correct change to guests timely.
  • Assist in setting up and clearing tables before and after service.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations during every shift.
  • Keep workstations and public spaces clean and well organized.
  • Support team members by undertaking additional tasks as necessary.
  • Participate actively in training sessions and shift briefings.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification is necessary.
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required for customer interaction.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently during shifts.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods necessary.
  • Team player with a proactive and customer-focused attitude essential.
