Job Description

The Clinic Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of clinical services. This position involves overseeing the day-to-day administrative activities of the clinic, coordinating schedules, managing patient flow, and ensuring that patients receive quality care in a timely manner. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily administrative operations to ensure efficient clinic functioning.
  • Manage patient scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling to optimize clinic hours.
  • Oversee patient registration processes and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Facilitate effective communication between healthcare providers and administrative staff.
  • Supervise and support administrative team members in their respective roles.
  • Implement and monitor clinic policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Handle patient inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and coordinate with vendors for timely restocking.
  • Prepare and maintain administrative documentation and reports as required.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care delivery.
  • Assist in employee recruitment, training, and performance evaluations within the clinic.
  • Monitor financial transactions and assist with budget management and auditing processes.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Clinic Coordinator or similar administrative role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Proficiency in using healthcare management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field preferred.
