Job Description

As an F&B Service Expert, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences, ensuring that every guest leaves with a memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for orchestrating the seamless operations of the dining floor, liaising efficiently between the kitchen and front-of-house to ensure excellent service delivery. Your role demands a blend of hospitality skills, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate the needs of guests. With your deep understanding of menu offerings and your commitment to customer satisfaction, you will contribute significantly to the establishment's reputation and customer loyalty. You will uphold and enhance service standards, mentor junior staff, and implement best practices that align with the overall mission of providing high-quality service in a dynamic environment.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations to ensure high-quality guest service delivery at all times.
  • Coordinate between kitchen staff and service team to ensure timely meal delivery.
  • Train and mentor junior staff to uphold service standards and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage guest reservations and seating arrangements to optimize floor efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, placing orders as necessary.
  • Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
  • Develop and update service policies in collaboration with management to enhance operations.
  • Assist in planning and execution of special events and functions with attention to detail.
  • Understand and explain the menu to guests, including ingredients and special dietary requirements.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to promote new menu offerings and specials.
  • Conduct regular meetings with staff to maintain communication and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food and beverage service within a hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and staff.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage pairing to enhance guest dining experiences.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Detailed-oriented approach to service with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Proficient in point-of-sale systems and basic computer software applications.
