The role of a Freight Forwarding Sales Executive is a dynamic position within the logistics and supply chain industry. Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential clients to increase the company’s freight forwarding sales.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on competitor activities and trends.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Consult with clients to understand their shipping needs and provide tailored logistical solutions.
  • Negotiate freight rates and contracts with clients to secure and close profitable business deals.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure exceptional service delivery to clients.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and activities to senior management regularly.
  • Attend industry conferences and events to promote company services and network.
  • Keep abreast of new regulations and challenges in the logistics and shipping industry.
  • Provide logistical solutions and logistics cost analyses for potential and existing clients.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and providing excellent after-sales support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years experience in sales, preferably in freight forwarding or logistics.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and objectives.
  • Strong understanding of freight forwarding, international shipping, and logistics operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with clients and teams.
  • Ability to perform market research and analysis on competitors and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales management tools for tracking leads.
