Job Description

The Banking Operations Associate is an integral part of the financial services team, responsible for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of banking operations. Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records and reports.
  • Prepare and analyze regular operational reports for management review.
  • Assist with audits and inspections by providing necessary documents and information.
  • Identify areas for improvement in banking processes and suggest enhancements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Support the implementation of new banking systems and technologies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information and banking operations data.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members on operational procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor banking transactions for potential fraudulent activities and escalate as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in banking operations or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of banking regulations and financial compliance standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
