We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor (Job Code: 14N25) to join our dynamic media team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and an eye for visual composition. You will be responsible for assembling recorded video footage, applying various editing techniques, and enhancing video quality in post-production. Our projects span across corporate videos, commercials, online content, and more. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our creative directors and other team members, ensuring that the storytelling vision is executed with precision and creativity. You should be adept with industry-standard editing software and have the ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality. Your work will be instrumental in shaping the brand image and message we project to our audience.

Responsibilities

• Review and organize raw footage to prepare for editing and post-production processes.
• Work closely with directors and production team to understand video objectives and deliverables.
• Edit videos to include interviews, sequences, graphics, and special effects as required.
• Utilize sound editing techniques to incorporate music, voice-overs, and sound effects appropriately.
• Ensure quality and consistency of video projects by reviewing and evaluating final tapes.
• Stay updated with cutting-edge video editing software and industry trends to ensure effective output.
• Coordinate with the creative team to align video styles with brand guidelines and goals.
• Develop and structure creative video content for social media platforms and online content.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and project goals.
• Collaborate during brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas for upcoming video projects.
• Perform necessary post-editing activities such as color correction and image stabilizing.
• Maintain archives of video projects and associated documents for future reference and reuse.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Studies, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.
• Solid experience in motion graphics tools and audio editing software is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of storytelling techniques and visual composition.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and produce quality content.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills for managing video archives.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively.
• At least 2 years of video editing experience in a professional setting.
