Job Description

The Supply Chain Operations Associate plays a crucial role in the efficient management and coordination of the supply chain processes within an organization. This position serves as a link between various departments, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. The Supply Chain Operations Associate is responsible for ensuring that all supply chain activities run smoothly, contributing to the overall success and profitability of the company. The candidate must possess excellent organizational and analytical skills, be able to work well under pressure, and be adept at problem-solving. The role demands strong communication and interpersonal abilities to facilitate efficient coordination among internal teams and external partners.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee daily supply chain operations to ensure seamless execution.
  • Monitor inventory levels regularly to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
  • Develop and implement supply chain optimization strategies to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare regular reports on supply chain performance metrics for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies across all operations.
  • Participate in the negotiation of contracts with suppliers and service providers.
  • Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts for supply chain activities.
  • Maintain an updated database of all relevant supply chain information and documentation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the introduction of new products.
  • Address and resolve any logistical challenges that impact supply chain efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in supply chain operations or a related area.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex supply chain data.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on ensuring accuracy and quality in all tasks.
