Job Description

The Supply Chain Operations Associate is a critical role in our organization, responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of supply chain activities. This position involves working closely with multiple departments to coordinate the logistics and operational aspects of supply chain management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, production, inventory management, and distribution. They will be adept at identifying potential issues in the supply chain and implementing solutions to mitigate risks. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate reordering to prevent stockouts.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure efficient transportation of goods.
  • Assist in procurement activities by negotiating contracts with suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international supply chain regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans for potential disruptions.
  • Prepare and present reports on supply chain activities to management.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance supply chain effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and deliveries.
  • Provide support in resolving any issues related to supply chain operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain operations or logistics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect and interpret data.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
