Architectural Draftsman 18N25

We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Architectural Draftsman (18N25) to join our dynamic team of architects and designers. As an Architectural Draftsman, you will work closely with architects, engineers, and construction managers to ensure that designs are accurately depicted in our projects. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and project managers to develop detailed architectural plans.
• Produce technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software for projects.
• Review building codes and regulations to ensure compliance in designs and drafts.
• Coordinate with the construction team to clarify design details required for projects.
• Prepare detailed working drawings, designs, plans, models, and schemes.
• Maintain and update project drawings, ensuring accuracy and timelines are met.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the architectural team as necessary.
• Assist in project administration with procurement of relevant materials and resources.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data and ensure design feasibility.
• Streamline and optimize drafting workflows for increased efficiency and output quality.
• Manage and catalogue all digital and physical drafting documents and data.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Drafting, or related field preferred.
• Proficient in CAD software, including experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong knowledge of building materials, engineering practices, and construction techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce precise and accurate drawings.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in architectural drafting or related positions.
• Ability to interpret both verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with team members and clients.
