Job Description

The Store In-charge plays a pivotal role in managing store operations and personnel to achieve business targets. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring efficient service delivery.

  • Ensure inventory levels are maintained, performing regular stock checks and audits.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and profitability goals.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address any customer inquiries or complaints.
  • Organize and supervise all store activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and maintain the store's condition in terms of cleanliness and orderliness.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies at all times.
  • Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports for senior management.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of stock and negotiate terms.
  • Implement and oversee promotional initiatives to drive store traffic and sales.
  • Train new staff members, ensuring they grasp store policies and customer service standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as Store In-charge, Store Manager, or equivalent retail role.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills to effectively manage store operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with staff and customers.
  • Ability to analyze sales figures and employ data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficient in using retail software, including inventory management systems.
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple responsibilities under pressure.
  • Availability to work during peak retail hours, including weekends and holidays.
