Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed sales targets and goals.
  • Manage payment transactions efficiently and accurately using the point of sale system.
  • Monitor and replenish stock levels to ensure product availability on the sales floor.
  • Assist in store promotional activities and special events to enhance customer engagement.
  • Address customer queries and resolve complaints to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Perform daily opening and closing procedures, including cash register balancing.
  • Contribute to creating an inviting store environment through effective lighting displays.
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to within the store premises.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs to improve selling techniques and product knowledge.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required for this role.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Basic knowledge of retail POS systems and processes for efficient transactions.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as necessary.
