A Maintenance Electrician is an essential role within our organization, tasked with ensuring the electrical systems are functioning efficiently and safely. Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to determine necessary repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure longevity and efficiency of systems.
• Install, calibrate, and test electrical systems to ensure proper operation.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to plan and implement system upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area, free of hazards and obstructions.
• Monitor inventory of electrical supplies and recommend orders when necessary.
• Assist in the training of junior staff and apprentices when required.
• Provide emergency support to address unexpected electrical failures promptly.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with a valid electrician's license.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in industrial or commercial electrical maintenance.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and blueprints.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear documentation.
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work overtime and on-call shifts.
• Willingness to continuously upgrade skills through on-the-job learning.
