Job Description

As a Furniture Sales Manager, you hold a pivotal role in driving the success of our furniture retail operations. Your primary responsibility is to lead a team of sales professionals in achieving and exceeding sales targets, while also ensuring exceptional customer experiences in our store. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategic sales plans that align with the company's goals and industry trends. By fostering a positive team environment, monitoring sales performance, and providing training and mentorship, you will help shape the growth and reputation of our brand. This role demands a dynamic leader with strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills to optimize sales operations and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to boost loyalty and revenue.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales tactics accordingly.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the sales team’s product knowledge and skills.
  • Monitor salesfloor activities and provide guidance to ensure optimal performance and customer service.
  • Oversee inventory and stock management to prevent shortages and meet customer demand.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure alignment between promotional activities and sales strategies.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and optimize the visual merchandising of store displays to attract and engage customers.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales management within the furniture or retail industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage customers and staff.
  • Analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends effectively.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using sales management software and CRM systems.
