Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations to maintain high standards and efficiency.
  • Manage food costs and ensure budgetary compliance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations in the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source the highest quality ingredients for menus.
  • Monitor kitchen inventory and order supplies to maintain stock levels.
  • Coordinate with management to strategize marketing and promotional activities.
  • Implement quality control procedures to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.
  • Analyze customer feedback to continually improve menu offerings and service.
  • Lead training programs to enhance the skills and productivity of kitchen staff.
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with key stakeholders and team members.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts, hospitality management, or related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, trends, and kitchen management.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills for effective team coordination.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management abilities within a culinary setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for staff and guest interactions.
  • Ability to manage stress and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
