The Travel Desk Executive - Visa Support is a pivotal role within the travel management team, primarily responsible for assisting clients with their travel documents and visa processing needs. The individual in this position ensures that all visa applications and related documentation meet the required regulations and standards. They play a crucial role in managing the entire visa process, from application to approval, ensuring that clients can travel without any hitches. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and process visa applications accurately for international travel.
  • Provide advisory services to clients regarding travel documentation requirements.
  • Maintain updated records of visa regulations and embassy requirements.
  • Assist clients in collecting and organizing all necessary visa documentation.
  • Communicate with embassies or consulates for timely processing of visas.
  • Ensure all visa applications are submitted within specified deadlines.
  • Track and report the status of visa applications to clients regularly.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the visa process.
  • Review and verify the accuracy of client information and documents.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service.
  • Collaborate with travel consultants to align travel plans with visa approvals.
  • Provide emergency support for travel-related issues concerning visa documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Travel and Tourism or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a travel agency or visa handling role.
  • In-depth knowledge of international visa processes and documentation requirements.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail required.
  • Ability to manage multiple applications and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and related travel software applications.
