Job Description

A Sales Representative is a key member of any sales team, responsible for generating revenue by cultivating relationships with existing clients while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. As a critical point of contact between the company and its clients, the Sales Representative must possess excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the products or services offered. This role requires a blend of strategic, operational, and interpersonal skills to meet sales targets and enhance the customer experience. Successful Sales Representatives are proactive, resilient, and able to adapt their sales approach to meet the unique needs of each client. They also work collaboratively with other departments, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment with overall business goals.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue potential sales opportunities through cold calling and networking.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid arguments to prospective customers.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments within the organization.
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and status reports.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, and competitive activities.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services to clients.
  • Attend meetings, sales events, and training sessions to stay updated with industry developments.
  • Continuously improve through feedback and consult with sales and marketing team leaders.
  • Handle customer feedback and provide after-sales support to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Adapt sales approach for different clients as needed to meet respective sales goals.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Representative or similar role for at least 2 years.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with CRM practices.
  • Ability to build productive business professional relationships with clients.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills essential for this role.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
  • Valid driver’s license required for meeting clients and attending events.
