Job Description

A Sales Executive is a critical part of a company’s executive team. Charged with the task of driving sales through various channels, the Sales Executive is dynamic, results-oriented, and possesses an in-depth understanding of our industry’s market. This position involves creating strategic sales plans that expand the company’s customer base and ensure its presence in the industry. The successful candidate will be a pragmatic leader who is able to forecast and manage potential business opportunities and challenges. They will play a key role in creating and sustaining customer relationships, thereby driving the company's growth and profitability. The Sales Executive must also possess excellent analytical skills to identify new market opportunities and orchestrate efforts to turn them into a competitive advantage.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company's customer base.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products.
  • Meet or exceed set sales targets through direct sales efforts.
  • Identify potential sales leads and key players within respective industries.
  • Manage organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.
  • Maintain long-lasting relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure alignment between sales and marketing strategies.
  • Forecast sales, develop "out of the box" sales strategies/models, and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Diligently track sales and marketing intelligence by utilizing CRM tools and systems.
  • Identify goals and objectives for each sales territory to increase profitability.
  • Conduct meetings with the sales team to ensure alignment with company sales strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a relevant field is required.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and achieving sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are necessary.
  • Strong ability to coach and motivate a team to achieve sales targets effectively.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify market trends and competition.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and the Microsoft Office Suite is needed.
  • Previous experience in sales within the industry is highly desirable.
