Job Description

The Project Coordinator plays an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation and successful completion of various projects within an organization. This position involves crucial tasks such as coordinating activities, resources, equipment, and information. The Project Coordinator assists project managers and teams by providing guidance, documentation, and reporting support. This person is an integral link in communications with all involved parties, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned with the project's objectives. With an eye for detail, and an aptitude for multitasking, the Project Coordinator helps in keeping projects on schedule, within scope, and budget, ultimately ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and project success.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage project tasks to ensure project objectives are met promptly.
  • Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders and team members regularly.
  • Support the Project Manager in planning and monitoring project execution diligently.
  • Develop comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports as required.
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication among project team members effectively.
  • Monitor project timelines and schedules to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Track and manage the project's inventory and resources efficiently.
  • Assist with budget monitoring and reporting to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Identify and address any project risks or issues that may arise proactively.
  • Organize meetings and keep meeting minutes to track decisions and action items.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to obtain necessary project resources.
  • Continuously update project documentation to reflect current project status accurately.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in project coordination or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and effective stakeholder interaction.
  • Proficient in project management software tools like MS Project or Asana.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success.
