Responsibilities

• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured manual test plans and cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing requirements are well defined.
• Conduct various testing types including functional, regression, and usability testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution promptly.
• Analyze test results and liaise with developers for immediate bug resolutions.
• Support requirements gathering and participate in design reviews and walkthroughs.
• Maintain organized records of defect logs, test scripts, and testing reports.
• Communicate testing progress, results, and issues effectively to stakeholders.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of test processes and methodologies.
• Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations in testing.
• Provide mentorship to junior testers and share best practices and insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar field.
• Proven experience in manual testing of software applications with a broad understanding.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and best practices.
• Experience in using test management tools such as JIRA or TestRail effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in identifying testing requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to document test processes effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
