Maintenance Supervisor (225-1001)

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities through the leadership and management of maintenance teams. You will be responsible for overseeing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of the company’s facilities. Your primary duty is to maintain the smooth running of our production and facilities, ensuring that maintenance schedules are strictly adhered to, and that any repairs are promptly and efficiently carried out. You will oversee a team of skilled technicians and will be expected to mentor, develop, and improve efficiencies within your team. In this role, you must demonstrate an exceptional ability to manage complex projects, optimize resources, and keep our facilities in compliance with company policies as well as safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations within the facility.
• Coordinate and delegate responsibilities to maintenance staff and skilled tradespeople.
• Ensure that all maintenance staff adhere to safety and health regulations.
• Inspect equipment, facilities, and systems to identify issues and resolve them promptly.
• Supervise the installation and repair of equipment, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Manage maintenance budgets and track expenditures effectively to control costs.
• Plan and schedule maintenance tasks to ensure facilities remain operational at all times.
• Facilitate continuous improvement by analyzing performance data and optimizing processes.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
• Develop training programs to enhance the capabilities and productivity of the maintenance team.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely service delivery.
• Create and maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports for management review.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of industrial equipment and facilities management best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems within large facilities.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire a team.
• Capability to handle multi-tasking in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in computer software such as Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
