The Learning & Development Specialist plays a crucial role in fostering growth and enhancing the skill set of employees within an organization. As a Learning & Development Specialist, you will collaborate closely with management and cross-functional teams to design impactful learning experiences that enhance employee engagement and foster a culture of continuous improvement.


Responsibilities

  • Design comprehensive learning programs tailored to meet specific organizational needs.
  • Analyze training data to assess the effectiveness and ROI of learning programs.
  • Facilitate engaging and interactive learning sessions for diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop content that is current and relevant.
  • Maintain and update training materials to ensure they reflect organizational changes.
  • Lead workshops and seminars to support skill development and knowledge sharing.
  • Develop and manage e-learning courses and resources using a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Coordinate with human resources to align training activities with employee development plans.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify learning gaps and training opportunities.
  • Advise management on strategic learning initiatives that support business objectives.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and self-improvement throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field required.
  • Three to five years of experience in learning and development roles.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Proven experience in developing and facilitating training sessions for various audiences.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems and e-learning platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate training needs and effectiveness.
