Job Description

The HR Generalist is a dynamic and multifaceted role designed for a dedicated individual who can manage many facets of human resources proficiently. This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being at the core of a company's HR function, offering guidance and support across all HR disciplines to both employees and management. The HR Generalist will ensure the smooth running of HR operations and contribute to the development of our organization's HR plan. You will be responsible for addressing employee grievances, managing benefits and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. By fostering an excellent work environment, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the company’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and HR policies, programs, and practices.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands and grievances.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent timely.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development of employees.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system to drive high performance.
  • Assess training needs and monitor training programs to ensure employee growth.
  • Manage and facilitate employee engagement initiatives and surveys effectively.
  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and other relevant HR regulations.
  • Provide guidance on health and safety regulations, ensuring workplace safety.
  • Manage employee benefits program, including negotiation with benefit providers.
  • Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures to improve HR functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience working as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make independent decisions.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
