Job Description

The Assistant Manager – Human Resources plays a pivotal role in supporting the HR department in executing strategies and operations that enhance the overall employee experience. This role requires a dynamic individual capable of managing a range of HR functions including recruitment, training, employee relations, and performance management. As the right-hand to the HR manager, the Assistant Manager provides key support in developing and implementing policies that align with the company’s strategic goals. This position demands excellent communication skills, a thorough understanding of HR practices, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies that support business objectives.
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts for open positions, including conducting interviews.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes and ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Participate in the development and execution of training and development programs.
  • Support the performance management process by providing necessary guidance.
  • Handle employee relations issues with a focus on conflict resolution.
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits and compensation programs.
  • Prepare and analyze HR reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure HR activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Collaborate with department heads to address manpower planning and needs.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies.
  • Support diversity and inclusion initiatives across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in an HR generalist role or similar position.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle conflicts professionally.
  • Proficient in HR software applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
