Job Description

The Sr. Executive Procurement / Supply Chain plays a critical role in ensuring that an organization’s supply chain is efficient, effective, and aligned with business goals. This position involves developing strategies to improve procurement processes, managing relationships with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The Sr. Executive is responsible for negotiating contracts, reducing costs, and maintaining quality standards. They work closely with other departments to forecast requirements, manage inventory, and ensure the business operates smoothly. By leveraging analytics and data-driven insights, they aim to optimize the supply chain to support company growth, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Develop procurement strategies to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain operations.
  • Analyze market trends to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Manage the supplier selection process including vetting and audits.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure supply chain activities comply with legal and company regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Use data analytics to drive strategic decision-making in procurement processes.
  • Prepare reports and forecasts to guide business planning and budgeting.
  • Implement systems and processes for continuous improvement in supply chain.
  • Oversee the resolution of any issues arising from supply chain operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management roles.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Outstanding communication skills for collaborating with internal and external partners.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and MS Office Suite.
  • In-depth knowledge of market dynamics and supplier practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive results.
