Responsibilities

  • Monitor each child's progress and adapt teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Foster a safe and nurturing classroom environment that promotes respect and love for learning.
  • Use creative and engaging activities to develop children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
  • Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and classroom activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, academic progress, and any incidents.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to develop programs enhancing student experiences.
  • Ensure the implementation of the educational curriculum in compliance with school standards.
  • Participate in professional development sessions to stay current with educational trends.
  • Manage classroom materials effectively and ensure they are used appropriately by students.

Requirements

  • Experience working with young children in an educational or recreational setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with children.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and appropriate teaching methodologies.
  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching and making a difference in children's lives.
  • Ability to create a warm and stimulating classroom environment for young learners.
  • Compliance with background check requirements and other school employment protocols.
