Our pharmacy is seeking a qualified and motivated Pharmacist to deliver the highest standards of pharmaceutical care to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pharmacy, excellent attention to detail, and a customer-friendly manner. In this role, you will work closely with other health care professionals to ensure safe, effective, and efficient care delivery and the optimal use of medication resources. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medication, providing patient consultations, and ensuring compliance with all pharmacy regulations. Your expertise will contribute to patient health outcomes and satisfaction, making you a vital part of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescribed medications to patients in a timely manner.
• Review and interpret prescriptions from healthcare providers efficiently and accurately.
• Advise patients on the correct usage of their medications and any potential side effects.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy for patients.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records including all pharmaceutical care administered.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards in pharmacy practice.
• Manage pharmacy operations including inventory management and order processing.
• Participate in public health initiatives and health promotion activities.
• Train and supervise pharmacy technicians, interns, and support staff effectively.
• Conduct thorough medication reviews and assessments for patients who require extra care.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in pharmaceutical research and practice.
• Provide emergency pharmaceutical support and advice as required in critical situations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution.
• Valid pharmacy license .
• Proven experience working as a pharmacist in either a retail or healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, medical terminology, and drug classifications.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex medical information.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using pharmacy databases and healthcare technologies effectively.
