Job Description

A Maintenance Executive plays a pivotal role in ensuring that an organization's facilities, equipment, and systems operate efficiently and safely. The position demands a strong understanding of maintenance management, a proactive approach to troubleshooting, and the ability to lead a team effectively. As a Maintenance Executive, you will be responsible for developing preventive maintenance plans, resolving maintenance issues promptly, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will work closely with other departments to align maintenance activities with business objectives, improve facilities management, and reduce downtime. Your expertise in identifying and implementing process improvements will contribute to enhancing operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance plans for all facilities and equipment.
  • Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Monitor and analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with procurement to manage spare parts inventory efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities.
  • Plan and manage the maintenance budget to achieve cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to assess maintenance needs and priorities.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and resources.
  • Investigate root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices for maintenance management.
  • Prepare and present maintenance performance reports to senior management as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in maintenance management or an equivalent role.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance processes, standards, and software systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of maintenance professionals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance management software applications.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with great attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Certifications in facilities or maintenance management are highly desirable.
