Job Description

The Maintenance Executive is a vital role within an organization, responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations to ensure that buildings and equipment are in optimal condition. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of maintenance procedures, the ability to coordinate with various departments, and management of maintenance teams. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily maintenance activities to ensure smooth operation of all facilities.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules for all equipment and buildings.
  • Manage the maintenance team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate with different departments to prioritize maintenance tasks and projects.
  • Monitor the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective measures and investments.
  • Supervise inspection and repair activities to ensure satisfactory completion of work.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and compliance checks in line with regulations.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities and prepare detailed reports for management.
  • Source, negotiate and manage relationships with external contractors and vendors.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and repair costs.
  • Evaluate new technologies and strategies to improve maintenance operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facility management, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in a maintenance management or executive role within a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in maintenance operations.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and standard office applications.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to handle emergency situations confidently.
