Job Description

As a Leasing Consultant, you will be the pivotal figure in welcoming potential residents and guiding them through the leasing experience. Your role is crucial in establishing a positive first impression of our property and ensuring a seamless transition for visitors to become residents. You will leverage your excellent communication skills to engage with prospective tenants, showcasing the benefits and features of our properties clearly and confidently. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining excellent customer service standards, ensuring residents are satisfied, and addressing any inquiries promptly. In addition to administrative tasks, the role offers opportunities to enhance marketing strategies to expand our tenant community and improve occupancy rates. Your enthusiasm and passion for real estate and customer interaction will contribute significantly to the overall success of our team and community.


Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist prospective tenants in their property search and leasing process.
  • Conduct property tours and showcase community amenities to potential residents.
  • Provide accurate and comprehensive information to all leasing inquiries.
  • Process applications, lease agreements, renewals, and follow-up documentation efficiently.
  • Maintain contact with prospective and current residents to nurture relationships.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure readiness of apartments.
  • Manage social media and advertising campaigns to attract potential tenants.
  • Conduct market analysis to determine competitive rental rates and trends.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate leasing and occupancy reports and records.
  • Assist with community events to enhance tenant engagement and satisfaction.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to tenant complaints and service requests.
  • Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and property management policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills required.
  • Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to accommodate resident needs.
  • Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service is preferred.
