Job Description

A Learning Experience Designer is responsible for creating, developing, and implementing engaging educational programs that are tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners. This role intersects education and technology to design instructional experiences that will improve the learning outcomes for participants. The Learning Experience Designer collaborates with educators, subject matter experts, and technology teams to create curricula and learning environments that are innovative, effective, and efficient. They utilize various tools and methodologies to develop resources that facilitate active learning and help learners acquire knowledge and skills effectively. The ideal candidate has a strong background in instructional design, educational technology, and curriculum development, along with a commitment to enhancing learner engagement and success through dynamic educational solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Design and develop interactive and effective learning experiences and programs.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Integrate technology and multimedia elements into learning environments strategically.
  • Conduct needs assessments to understand and address learner skill gaps.
  • Develop assessment tools that accurately evaluate and support learning objectives.
  • Utilize learning management systems for content delivery and tracking progress.
  • Continuously assess, refine, and update educational programs and materials.
  • Provide orientation and training for facilitators on new educational tools and practices.
  • Design microlearning modules and online courses to enhance learner flexibility.
  • Analyze feedback to iterate and improve instructional design practices.
  • Stay updated with emerging educational technologies and instructional design trends.
  • Ensure instructional alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, or related field required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a learning design role.
  • Strong proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate or Captivate.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of educational technology trends and instructional design principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop engaging and interactive learning materials.
  • Experience with learning management systems and content management platforms.
