Job Description

As an IT Support Associate Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of technology systems within our organization. You will be the first point of contact for resolving IT-related issues, providing excellent customer service, and supporting various technical teams. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting hardware and software problems, maintaining networks, and assisting in the implementation of technology projects. Your keen analytical skills and customer-oriented approach will help you quickly resolve issues and minimize downtime. Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to company employees for various IT issues.
  • Perform hardware and software diagnostics to resolve reported technical problems.
  • Assist in configuring and maintaining computer networks and related systems.
  • Document and track all incidents and support requests in a ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate complex issues as necessary.
  • Participate in the deployment and maintenance of new IT infrastructure and systems.
  • Contribute to IT projects by providing support and technical input as needed.
  • Ensure all IT support activities comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT systems and applications.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Assist in the development and updating of technical documentation and procedures.
  • Monitor system performance and alert relevant teams to potential issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Outstanding communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Experience with IT service management tools and ticketing systems preferred.
  • Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are highly desirable.
