Job Description

The IT Operations & Support Engineer plays a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day functioning of an organization's IT infrastructure. Their primary focus is to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security of IT systems, including networks, servers, and hardware/software applications. Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure optimal operational efficiency.

  • Conduct regular system audits and updates to enhance performance and security.

  • Ensure security protocols are implemented and maintained across all IT systems.
  • Manage and optimize network and server configurations for efficient operations.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior IT staff members and interns.
  • Track and manage inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
  • Participate in the development and execution of IT policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or related role.
  • Strong knowledge of network and server management technologies.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical hardware/software issues.
  • Experience with system monitoring tools and IT service management frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently under pressure.
