Job Description

A Field Service Executive plays a critical role in managing and overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment or services for customers in a designated area. They act as the bridge between the company and customers, ensuring that the service delivered meets quality standards and customer satisfaction. The role typically involves a mix of technical knowledge, customer service skills, and field presence. A successful Field Service Executive has excellent organizational and communication skills, combined with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently. This position may require traveling to various customer locations, managing a team of service technicians, and collaborating with different departments within the company.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the installation and maintenance of equipment at client locations.
  • Provide technical support and customer service to resolve client issues promptly.
  • Supervise a team of service technicians to ensure optimal productivity and service quality.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all equipment serviced and repaired.
  • Monitor inventory levels of parts and equipment needed for field operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all job sites.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve field service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to provide feedback on customer needs.
  • Conduct regular training and development sessions for field service staff.
  • Prepare detailed service reports and present findings to management.
  • Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for field service operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a field service or technical support role.
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills for effective client interaction.
  • Ability to manage and lead a team, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Proficiency in using field service management software and tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for field visits required.
