Job Description

The Field Service Engineer II (22J25) is a crucial role within our technical support team, responsible for providing on-site installation, maintenance, and repair services for various equipment and systems. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. As a Field Service Engineer II, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally. You will work closely with other engineers and support staff to diagnose equipment issues and implement effective solutions. Your role will involve regular travel to customer sites, where you will be expected to uphold the company’s standards for service excellence and maintain strong, productive relationships with clients.


Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems on customer sites.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to quickly resolve customer issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment functionality.
  • Coordinate with other engineers and service staff to implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities and customer interactions.
  • Train customers and other personnel on proper equipment usage and maintenance.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during site visits.
  • Assist in developing service plans to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Recommend upgrades and improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
  • Provide detailed reports on service activities and customer feedback to management.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times.
  • Stay updated on the latest technology trends and industry developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service engineering or equivalent roles.
  • Strong technical knowledge of the equipment and systems relevant to the industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with customers and team.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work outside normal business hours when necessary.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proven track record of maintaining customer satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team for best outcomes.
