The role of a Field Service Engineer II is a dynamic and rewarding position that involves providing technical services related to the maintenance and repair of equipment or systems. Responsibilities

  • Travel to client sites to conduct equipment repairs and maintenance services.
  • Diagnose technical issues and determine appropriate solutions efficiently and effectively.
  • Interact with clients to explain technical procedures and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Install, calibrate, and upgrade equipment to optimize performance and reliability.
  • Document service visits, repairs, and replacement parts for accurate records.
  • Coordinate with technical support teams to resolve complex equipment problems.
  • Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Provide technical training and support to clients on equipment operation whenever necessary.
  • Identify recurring issues to report and recommend improvements to product teams.
  • Ensure that inventory levels of spare parts and tools are adequate for service operations.
  • Participate in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest technological advancements.
  • Assist in developing and updating service manuals based on hands-on experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in field service or similar technical roles.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing complex machinery and electronic systems.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work independently in diverse environments.
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy equipment safely and effectively.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
