Responsibilities

  • Install and configure CCTV systems according to client specifications and site layouts.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting activities to ensure system functionality.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate installation and maintenance records for auditing and reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate with clients to assess their security needs and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Program and adjust cameras and recorders for optimal performance and coverage.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements during installations.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients on system operations and features.
  • Keep abreast of technological advancements and incorporate them into security solutions.
  • Monitor inventory levels of tools and equipment, managing stock as required.
  • Work closely with team members to complete projects under tight deadlines.
  • Perform site surveys to determine best camera and equipment placements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED with relevant technical certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a CCTV Technician.
  • In-depth knowledge of CCTV hardware, software, and installation techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
