As a BIM Modeller - Structures, you will play a pivotal role in the design and implementation of structural projects using Building Information Modelling (BIM) technologies. You are expected to create detailed and accurate 3D models that reflect the structural integrity and design specifications of various construction projects. Your work will help in optimizing design, construction methods, and project workflows, ensuring effective communication between architects, engineers, and construction teams. Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive 3D models representing structural designs and details.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure accurate implementation.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate structural models with other BIM models.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts within the structural design models.
• Maintain and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle for consistency.
• Provide technical solutions to potential issues identified in the construction BIM models.
• Conduct quality assurance checks for compliance with client specifications and regulatory standards.
• Train and mentor junior BIM modellers in best practices and modeling techniques.
• Prepare detailed documentation and reports from BIM models for stakeholder review.
• Participate in project meetings, providing insights and updates on model development.
• Keep track of recent developments in BIM technology and best practices.
• Assist in developing and implementing BIM execution plans and protocols for projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in BIM modelling, with a focus on structures.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks is essential.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Effective communication skills to explain complex BIM concepts to non-expert stakeholders.
