Job Description

An HR Officer plays a pivotal role in a company's human resources department, ensuring that the company's operations are supported by a productive and satisfied workforce. This key role involves managing HR obligations, engaging with employees, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company protocols. The HR Officer facilitates communication between departments, handles employee relations, and recruits new talent to drive the company towards its objectives. Responsibilities

  • Implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands or issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to meet company staffing needs.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures.
  • Oversee and manage the performance appraisal system to drive high performance.
  • Maintain company staff by establishing a recruiting, selection, and interviewing program.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management and enforce company policies.
  • Provide guidance to management teams regarding organizational changes and HR best practices.
  • Organize training and development initiatives to improve employee skill sets.
  • Administer compensation strategy and oversee the payroll process accuracy.
  • Develop and manage employee benefits programs, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with senior management on HR planning and execution of strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field of study required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources or related roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle confidential matters.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR practices, regulations, and compliance issues.
  • Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative work environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and common office software like MS Office Suite.
