Senior Android Developer - Java Kotlin

Description

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Integrate Android apps with backend services using RESTful APIs (experience with Retrofit or Volley mandatory).
• Design intuitive and responsive user interfaces following Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Implement offline storage, multi-threading, and optimize app performance.
• Apply MVVM architecture using LiveData, ViewModel, and other relevant Android architecture components.
• Utilize the latest Android libraries and tools to enhance app functionality.
• Implement cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
• Use Git or other version control tools for source code management.
• Work with location-based services and Google Maps API for app functionalities.
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (BE/B. Tech) or MCA.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin programming language.
• In-depth knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and multiple Android OS versions.
• Experience with RESTful API integration (Retrofit or Volley).
• Solid understanding of Android UI design, MVVM architecture, and Android Jetpack components.
• Familiarity with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with push notifications and cloud messaging.
• Proficient with Git or equivalent version control systems.
• Experience with location services and Google Maps integration
