EY- Consulting – CEF Senior Manager

The opportunity

We’re looking for Senior Manager who will support Consulting Service Line. Business Operations Senior Manager primary responsibilities include tracking business performance, Monitoring and improving daily functions and Strategy. To be a successful Business Operations Senior Manager, you should have experience in the same or similar role, managing all business operation activities. You should also demonstrate good leadership skills and be able to communicate well across all levels and functions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Business Operations for Consulting competencies
  • Good in stakeholder management and team management
  • Monitoring and improving daily functions / activities
  • Monitor daily operations and address potential issues proactively
  • Ensure all systems operate smoothly and align with our quality standards
  • Run weekly meeting and facilitate business operation metrics with the stakeholders
  • Maintain constant knowledge of current and upcoming projects and business development activities
  • Alert Senior Management team of any potential concerns or issues in addressing operations metrics
  • Collaborate with inter service line Operations for driving cross utilization agenda and ensure compliance
  • Business Forecasting & Planning activities with the delivery stakeholders and track / report through the financial year
  • The ability to interpret financial data and provide business insights to the stakeholders
  • Monitor financial data and recommend solutions that will improve profitability
  • Tracking and reporting business results to the stakeholders and leadership team
  • Assist with managing and increasing utilization numbers for the client serving professionals
  • Coordinate with the Talent team to ensure our hiring plans are meet against business needs
  • Performing cost-benefit analyses for all the contract hiring
  • Building processes based on our business goals which can maximize the efficiency of operations and ensure compliance
  • Actively support on the new strategic plans and initiatives
  • Drive automation, process optimization & improvement initiatives focusing on measurable business impact
  • Drive healthy account receivables by facilitating a view on all aged invoices and help client facing teams identify problem counties from payment perspective
  • Achieve minimum Bench through periodic tracking and promoting cross utilisation, wherever applicable
  • Assist in curtailing billing leakage by implementing suitable measures and controls
  • Provide support to Consulting client facing teams & onshore finance/engagement teams by providing timely reports & insights.
  • Reporting skills and Analytics
  • Monitor day to day deliverables against the business operations activities

Skills And Attributes For Success

  • Previous experience as a Business Operations Senior Manager or in a similar role
  • Good stakeholder management skills
  • Building relationship with Internal and External stakeholders by doing right thing
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications including Microsoft excel
  • MIS and Reporting to deliver One-time tasks, ad hoc reporting, etc
  • Ability to meet deliverables on tight deadlines
  • Ability to ensure that work is of a consistently high standard
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines with confidence and ease.
  • Good knowledge of operations management & resource management

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Graduates and Postgraduates with at least 18+ years of work experience
  • Clear and concise communication in both written and verbal form.
  • Highly detail oriented and able to work autonomously.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload across multiple groups.
  • Experience with planning and forecasting activities with good analytical skills
  • Assertive conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills
  • People management skills on your current or previous assignments
  • Experience with project management would be helpful

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Robust understanding of business processes and operations
  • Effective in Team management
  • Ability to plan ahead and anticipate potential problems before they arise
  • Good knowledge of operations management
  • Experience with forecasting models
  • The ability to interpret financial data
  • Experience with project management
