Salesforce QA Tester (225-830)

The Salesforce QA Tester plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and quality of Salesforce implementations and ongoing updates. Responsibilities

• Design and execute detailed test plans and test cases for Salesforce applications.
• Collaborate with project managers and developers to understand business requirements and technical specifications.
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure application stability.
• Identify, document, and manage defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA or similar systems.
• Communicate findings and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and user experience.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive test documentation including test scripts and test data.
• Automate repetitive testing tasks to increase efficiency and reduce testing time.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and test strategy development sessions.
• Verify that fixes for reported issues meet the necessary standards and requirements.
• Support user acceptance testing by working with end-users to validate the final product.
• Continuously update skills and knowledge in Salesforce updates and QA best practices.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior QA team members when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in quality assurance testing, ideally with Salesforce.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or equivalent.
• Proficient in using bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA or TestRail.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices is highly desirable.
