Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and personable Hotel Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our esteemed hospitality establishment. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be instrumental in providing a memorable guest experience with exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and an upbeat attitude. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our guests receive the highest level of hospitality from the moment they arrive to the time they check out. Whether it’s making reservations, assisting with inquiries, or managing check-ins and check-outs, you will be playing a pivotal role in shaping our guests’ stay. In addition to guest interaction, you will also perform various administrative tasks to support our hotel operations. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and perform all check-in and check-out duties.
  • Manage room reservations and process guests’ registration through the hotel system.
  • Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area at all times.
  • Ensure all guest accounts are properly updated and billed accurately.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff for room readiness and functionality.
  • Answer multi-line phones and direct calls to appropriate departments within the hotel.
  • Handle guest requests for recreational facilities and services throughout their stay.
  • Stay informed about hotel policies and procedures to assist guests effectively.
  • Uphold hotel security measures by checking guest identification and bookings.
  • Assist in operational and administrative tasks to support hotel management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • Proficient with hotel management systems and basic computer applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
