Job Description

The role of a Quality Inspector is crucial in maintaining the standards and reputation of a company through meticulous oversight of product quality. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet consistent standards and specifications before they reach the consumer. It involves conducting detailed inspections, testing products or materials, and identifying any deviations from established specifications. You must have a keen eye for detail, a precise approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of quality assurance. You will work closely with production staff to address issues promptly and help maintain the integrity of the production process. Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of all incoming materials and products to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
  • Collaborate with production staff to address and resolve quality-related issues immediately.
  • Document and report any product non-conformities and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of inspection results and quality assurance tests.
  • Develop and implement methods to improve product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure that testing equipment is calibrated and maintained in accordance with industry standards.
  • Assist in developing and updating quality assurance protocols and procedures.
  • Train production staff on quality standards and processes as needed.
  • Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback and interpretation to management.
  • Monitor performance by gathering pertinent data and producing statistical reports.
  • Work with engineers and management to facilitate continuous process improvements.
  • Ensure that final products meet quality standards and the expectations of the customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a quality inspection or assurance role.
  • Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to testing and analysis.
  • Familiarity with quality control procedures and regulatory standards.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools and measurement devices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.
  • Proven ability to use initiative and make sound decisions under pressure.
