Sr Community Rel Specialist

As a Sr Community Relations Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be a key leader responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships between your organization and the communities it serves. You will work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including residents, businesses, government agencies, and community organizations. Your mission is to develop and implement comprehensive community outreach strategies and initiatives that not only align with the organizations goals but also significantly enhance its reputation and social impact.

In this role, you will impact the community by understanding, addressing, and innovatively solving its unique needs and concerns. Your partnership-building skills will expand our social impact and contribute to a stronger, more connected community. You will maintain a positive image for our organization, expertly resolve conflicts, and champion the interests of both the community and the organization. Your ability to plan and execute community events will strengthen community bonds, fostering a sense of unity and collaboration.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive community relations strategies to enhance companys reputation and community engagement
• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, nonprofits, and government agencies
• Identify and support community initiatives and programs aligning with companys values and goals
• Coordinate and participate in community events, sponsorships, and volunteer activities
• Manage community relations budgets and resources
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align community relations efforts with business objectives
• Track and report on impact and effectiveness of community relations initiatives
• Serve as a spokesperson for the company in communityrelated matters
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in community relations

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• 5+ years of experience
• Expert with comprehensive knowledge in a specific area or leadership position
• Works under minimal supervision
• Provide guidance and coaching to direct and/or indirect reports
• Lead project teams within the business
• Proven track record in developing and executing successful community relations strategies
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
• Experience in managing budgets and resources
