Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Mobile QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of mobile applications through strong testing practices and close collaboration with cross-functional teams. Worked on B2C/ Gaming application.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end testing of Android apps across devices and OS versions
• Create and execute test cases based on PRDs and user stories
• Perform functional, regression, and release testing across builds
• Validate key flows: ads, subscriptions (trials, restore), onboarding, and navigation
• Identify and track defects, ensure timely closure before release
• Perform pre-release checks for Play Store submissions
• Detect crashes, edge cases, and stability issues
• Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Android app testing (manual)
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect tracking
• Experience with API testing (Postman) and basic SQL
• Understanding of REST APIs and client–server architecture
• Knowledge of usability, compatibility, and performance testing
• Hands-on experience with Android Studio and Logcat for debugging
• Understanding of Android basics: lifecycle, APK builds, install/uninstall flows, permissions
• Awareness of device and OS-specific issues (low-end devices, screen sizes, OS versions)
• Strong analytical and communication skills
  
  

Good to Have

• Experience with automation tools (Espresso, Appium, UI Automator)
• Basic scripting knowledge (Java/Kotlin)
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Firebase, AdMob, RevenueCat
• Experience in testing ads and subscription flows
