As Manager – T&E Operational Excellence, you will play a critical role in strengthening how Travel & Expense (T&E) work is performed across Koch Capabilities. You will lead initiatives that simplify processes, increase automation, and improve user experience while ensuring strong governance, compliance, and scalable outcomes. This role combines people leadership, operational expertise, and project ownership to deliver sustainable business value.

What You Will Do
Lead end‑to‑end operational excellence initiatives within T&E to improve efficiency, compliance, and employee experience.
Identify, prioritize, and deliver work based on business impact, sustainability, and effective use of resources.
Own project outcomes by managing scope, risks, dependencies, and trade‑offs, and driving decisions to closure.
Drive automation and system‑enabled controls to reduce manual effort, errors, and process variability.
Partner with technology teams to enhance T&E platforms, workflows, analytics, and reporting capabilities.
Translate business needs into clear requirements and oversee testing, implementation, and stabilization of solutions.
Ensure processes and solutions are scalable, well‑documented, and clearly understood by operational teams.
Lead, coach, and develop team members operating within standardized and well‑governed T&E processes.
Define and reinforce roles, responsibilities, decision rights, and escalation paths across the operating model.
Embed policy, risk, and control requirements into day‑to‑day operations to ensure audit readiness.
Maintain clear SOPs, governance forums, and documentation to support consistency and continuous improvement.
Build strong working relationships with Finance, IT, Compliance, HR, and business leaders globally.
Manage vendor and outsourced partner relationships with a focus on performance, accountability, and value delivery.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
8–12 years of experience in T&E operations, finance operations, or shared services environments.
Demonstrated experience leading operational improvement, automation, or standardization initiatives.
People leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and capability building.
Experience managing complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
What Will Put You Ahead
A strong track record of delivering sustainable improvements in efficiency, compliance, and service quality.
Experience designing and embedding automated, scalable processes within global operations.
Deep understanding of T&E policies, controls, and governance in a complex organizational environment.
Project management certification or formal project leadership experience.
Credibility as a trusted partner who enables transparent, data‑driven decision‑making and sound judgment.
