Justdial - Senior Product Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and user-centric Senior Product Manager to spearhead the strategic and behavioral evolution of our core search engine platform across web browsers. In this role, your primary mission is to convert massive top-of-funnel browsing traffic into meaningful, high-intent leads for our paid clients and advertisers, while simultaneously deepening daily user engagement.

Rather than a traditional transaction/payment engine, you will focus on booking capacity and intent fulfillment. This means defining and building frictionless, zero-payment booking loopssuch as reserving slots, scheduling appointments, or checking real-time availabilityeither through seamless third-party API integrations or native platform capabilities on Justdial. This role sits at the intersection of browser technology, consumer psychology, and lead-generation architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Generation & Funnel Optimization: Design and execute a product roadmap aimed strictly at increasing user engagement and converting casual browser searchers into high-intent leads for advertisers.
• Fulfillment & Booking Capabilities: Own the strategy and execution for zero-payment booking loops (e.g., appointment scheduling, slot reservations). Architect these experiences smoothly using both native systems and third-party partner integrations.
• Browser Experience Ownership: Act as the internal expert on browser technology, optimizing site speed, discoverability, user paths, and interactive modules across all major web browsers.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Engineering, UX/UI Design, Marketing, and Business Development to translate user intent into highly scannable, engaging search results pages that prompt action.
• Data & Intent Analytics: Move beyond surface-level clicks to analyze deeper behavioral signals. Utilize user data and search patterns to design algorithmic intent-matching and vendor response-time metrics.
• Product Delivery: Translate business requirements into crisp PRDs (Product Requirement Documents) and technical logic, collaborating daily with engineering teams for on-time, high-quality Experience & Browser Depth:
• 6 to 7 years of product management experience, with a proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing high-volume, consumer-facing web or search products.
• Deep experience working on browser platforms, with an intimate understanding of web technologies, browser performance limits, and user behaviors across different browsers.
• Prior experience in search engine technology, lead-generation platforms, online directories, or high-traffic consumer internet spaces is a major plus.
  
  

Funnel Rigor & Lead Monetization Mindset

• Exceptional data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills to map out user drop-offs and design hooks that capture intent earlier in the browsing journey.
• Familiarity with building or managing performance metrics that benefit advertisers (e.g., lead quality, response speed tracking, etc).
  
  

Technical Empathy & Integration Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• Solid understanding of web architectures and API orchestrations (crucial for linking third-party booking systems natively into our browser interface) is a plus.
  
  

Communication & Strategic Execution

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey product vision to design and engineering teams, as well as business stakeholders.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively, distill vague customer problems into clear UI/UX patterns, and drive initiatives from concept to launch.
  
  

Performance Indicators (Success Metrics)

• Primary: High-Intent Lead Volume (Generated for paid clients), Search-to-Lead/Booking Conversion Rate, Browser-Based User Engagement & Retention.
• Secondary: Partner API Success/Latency Rates, Booking Fulfillment Completion (Successful slot reservations), Lead Quality/Accuracy Scores.
