We are looking for an experienced Java Tech Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance software solutions. This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, requiring strong expertise in Java, ReactJS, Apache Kafka, Jenkins, and MongoDB.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for making key technical decisions, guiding engineering teams, designing robust application architectures, and ensuring high-quality delivery. You will work closely with product managers, architects, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable and scalable technology solutions.

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable applications using Java and Spring-based technologies.
• Design and develop robust microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Drive architecture and design discussions, evaluating technical approaches and selecting appropriate solutions.
• Develop and maintain event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, topics, and messaging patterns.
• Design and optimize data models, queries, and integrations using MongoDB and other database technologies.
• Contribute to frontend development using ReactJS where required.
• Conduct detailed code reviews and enforce coding standards, design principles, and engineering best practices.
• Design and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to improve build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, QA, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and drive improvements in application scalability, reliability, and responsiveness.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and support their technical growth.
• Break down complex requirements into technical tasks, provide estimates, and track engineering deliverables.
• Ensure applications meet requirements for security, performance, maintainability, and operational reliability.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to development practices and system architecture.

• 9+ years of professional software development experience, with strong experience in Java-based application development.
• Proven experience in a Technical Lead, Lead Engineer, or similar senior engineering role.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka and event-driven or asynchronous application architectures.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, data modeling, queries, and performance optimization.
• Strong working knowledge of ReactJS and modern frontend development concepts.
• Experience building and managing Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, distributed systems, design patterns, and software architecture.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience leading technical discussions, conducting code reviews, and making architecture decisions.
• Strong mentoring and team leadership capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to balance hands-on development with technical leadership and delivery responsibilities.
• Experience working in Agile development environments with multiple cross-functional teams.
