About the role

   

Strategic Program Management  

  • Own and drive strategic space technology programs sponsored by the Founder and CEO. 

  • Translate high-level business and mission objectives across Space Situational Awareness (SSA), Space Domain Awareness (SDA), space-based sensors, satellite systems, and data platforms into structured execution roadmaps. 

  • Define program milestones, dependencies, deliverables, KPIs, and success metrics across engineering, product, and business teams. 

  • Establish execution cadences, governance mechanisms, and program dashboards for critical initiatives. 

  • Track end-to-end progress across technology development, productization, deployment, and operations. 

  • Identify technical, operational, commercial, and execution risks and drive timely mitigation. 

Strategic Execution 

  • Work directly with the Founder and CEO on high-priority strategic, technology, and business initiatives. 

  • Prepare executive-level briefs, presentations, decision documents, and program reviews. 

  • Convert ambiguous and complex deep-tech challenges into structured problem statements and actionable execution plans. 

  • Conduct detailed analysis and deep dives across satellite systems, payload development, data platforms, product initiatives, and orbital operations. 

  • Drive follow-through on strategic decisions across engineering, R&D, product, operations, and business teams.

  • Support the Founder in evaluating new opportunities, partnerships, technologies, and strategic initiatives. 

Technology Program Leadership 

  • Partner with Space Systems Engineering, Payload Development, Ground Systems, Data Science, AI/ML, Product, and Software Engineering teams. 

  • Drive cross-functional programs involving satellite payloads, sensor systems, orbital deployments, software platforms, and data infrastructure. 

  • Develop sufficient understanding of system-level architecture across space, ground, and data segments to effectively manage programs. 

  • Ensure alignment between product roadmap, mission requirements, technology priorities, and engineering execution. 

  • Monitor program health across development, system integration, testing, deployment, and operations. 

  • Identify cross-functional dependencies and ensure timely resolution of execution bottlenecks. 

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in engineering and MBA from a reputed institution with strong academic and analytical grounding with 3-4 years of experience.

  • Exposure to Founder’s Office, Chief of Staff, or strategic execution roles is highly desirable. 

  • Prior experience in high-growth startups, scale-ups, or fast-paced tech companies is strongly preferred. 

  • Strong understanding of complex engineering and technology systems. 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional programs and drive execution in ambiguous environments. 

  • Strong analytical, structured problem-solving, and systems-thinking capabilities. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive presence. 

  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, data analysis, dashboards, and program management tools. 

  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.
