Description

Clinisys is seeking an AI Senior Software Engineer for its Platform Engineering team in India. The role focuses on building AI-enabled, cloud-based platforms and working in an AI-first environment.

Location: India Bangalore | Hybrid

Experience

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Foundry
• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks
• Proficiency with GitHub Copilot in VS Code or Cursor and/or Visual Studio
• Experience with LLM APIs
• Understanding of RAG architecture and implementation
• Experience working with embeddings and vector stores
• Familiarity with document ingestion pipelines and chunking strategies
• Strong prompt engineering skills
• Familiarity with AI gateway patterns and multi-provider model routing
  
  

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI solutions on Microsoft Foundry
• Develop multi-step, tool-calling AI workflows using orchestration frameworks
• Work with LLM APIs across multiple providers
• Design and improve RAG-based retrieval quality
• Implement embeddings and vector store solutions
• Create document ingestion and chunking approaches for retrieval
• Apply prompt engineering practices
• Support AI gateway patterns and model routing across Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, and AWS Bedrock
• Work in an AI-first organization using AI enabled tools and digital and analytical thinking
• Continuously adapt as technologies evolve

• Help enhance diagnostic workflows across healthcare, life sciences, and public health
• Support the development of intelligent diagnostic informatics solutions and cloud-based platforms
• Contribute to generating meaningful insights at scale
• Help laboratories and testing environments operate more effectively
• Support healthier and safer communities
  
  

Nice To Have

• Strong proficiency in Python for AI/ML development, API services, and data pipelines
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and front-end frameworks, with React preferred and Angular acceptable
• Proficiency in C# and .NET development
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cosmos, Dynamo, and Redis
• Familiarity with REST API design and implementation
• Git version control with Azure DevOps, GitHub or similar products
